I'll post more later, but a quick recap of a terrific day. Our Gift Mart went multi-site, so we had simultaneous Marts going on in East Aurora and East Joliet. We collected a combined total of 9,500 toys, had over 1,000 volunteers, served approximately 3,500 people, and raised almost $15,000 for our partner schools. And fun and joy beyond measure!
I'm excited to hear about this! What an awesome ministry. I'd love to do that here in Indiana next year!

Wow, that is way cool. Love to see other churches out there doing the things of Jesus and not just believing in them. Way to go.

I was a first-time volunteer this year. God's presence and the palpable joy that welled up in my heart (and overflowed into my eyes) during my first 15 minutes there during the praise and worship time with the choir grew stronger throughout the day. I never have seen such huge and sincere smiles on so many faces in one place in my life! It was a tremendous day ,,, and I'm already looking forward to helping next year! Our God is an awesome God ,,, and Community 4:12 rocks!
